How to: Turn on or turn off Snap to Grid in Word 7.0.
Solution:
Click 'Snap to Grid' on the Drawing toolbar and select or clear the 'Snap to Grid' check box.
1) Display the 'Drawing' toolbar by clicking 'Drawing' on the 'Standard' toolbar.
2) Click 'Snap to Grid'. (The 'Snap to Grid' dialog box appears.)
3) Do one of the following:
a) To turn 'Snap to Grid' ON:
1] Select the 'Snap to Grid' check box.
2] Type the desired spacing in the 'Horizontal Spacing' and in the 'Vertical Spacing' boxes.
3] Type the grid origin in the 'Horizontal Origin' and 'Vertical Origin' boxes.
b) To turn 'Snap to Grid' OFF, clear (uncheck) the 'Snap to Grid' check box.
4) Click 'OK'.
